Traditionally, the "Silent Keys" section of an amateur publication is limited to a one-liner with the ham operators call sign and perhaps the last station location of their hamshack.
We would like to contribute a little more to our founders and fellow members of our radio club. We believe a more permanent recognition is in order for members of the HAM Community we've been fortunate to come to know from hours spent on the airwaves, doing public services in times of need and being there When All Else Fails.
Here is the start of the AARC memorial with images, news articles and sound files containing recordings made over the years. We hope the voices and pictures of our departed friends will be a melancholy but pleasant reminiscence.
Please consider sending along any news articles, tapes and images to our club historian to esnure our club history is preserved through recognition of our members. If there is anyone you feel should be added to the list below who has not been recognized please feel free to send any information you may have about them and their station. Old QSL cards are welcome as they do say alot about our operators.
